    Klitschko-Adamek signed

    By Przemyslaw Garczarczyk

“I can officially announce that Monday evening I signed the contract to fight Wladimir Klitschko in September, in Poland for a heavyweight championship fight,” said Tomasz Adamek, the Polish light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion, who wants to become the first man in boxing history with belts in the three heaviest weight categories. “Everything worked out, we are all very happy with this development. Both sides agreed to all the points, and as far as we know, Wladimir already signed it too, so now we are waiting for television stations from US and Germany to setup the best possible date in September,” said Adamek’s longtime manager and advisor, Zyggi Rozalski.
“With my trainer Roger Bloodworth, we have eight months to prepare for Klitschko,” said Adamek. “I will fight one more fight before September, most likely in Poland. I will start my preparations in a couple of days, at the Poconos Mountains, although for the past two weeks I’ve already started my own training schedule. What I can say? I love boxing.”

All I know is, Adamek is going to get crushed in brutal fashion. He's just too small for either of the Klitchko brothers... props to Tomasz for taking the fight though... that's a lot more than you can say for the "Gaymaker"

I know...it does seem unusual to arrange things so far in the future. But if this is what Adameks wants, hopefully he'll get his wish. Wlad fights 2 times a year, so this is fine for him.

If it really take place, all of Europe will be abuzzzz...

Haye is just another fashion model with muscles...

Adamek is either NUTS or he has a plan. He sure as hell isn't go stand in front of Wlad, thats for sure.

Should be win, just how great of an upset in boxing history would this be? Right behide Buster Douglas beating Tyson. I'd say...

You are seriously selling Adamek short but actually you are an Adamek fan so u are setting it up so if he wins it will look even more amazing.

Hey im a fan too but i think Adamek has a better chance than anyone the K brothers have faced lately. It wouldnt be as big as Douglas-Tyson.

Here is to Adamek becoming HW champion of the world!!!

It would be a big upset, but not nearly up there with Tyson-Douglas. Wlad has been beaten before and doesn't have a granite chin. Also, Adamek isn't a massive underachiever, he always come ready to fight. I think he has the best chance to beat Wlad out of anyone Wladimir has faced since he has been champ. That puts Adamek's chances at about 8-12 percent. I am looking forward to this fight and hoping Wlad gets through Chisora and doesn't get another injury.

I'm not selling him short. We all know the task at hand is immense. But I always said & was confident that he can get the job done.

I'm just NREVOUS, thats all. Both Klits are mighty obsticles!

But wouldn't it be amazing if somehow he wins!???

    The ****.

Wladimir really is playing games with Haye now. He's forcing him to do something he doesn't want to do......face Vitali instead.

I'm huge Klitschko fan but if someone dethrones them I have no problem that being Adamek. Guy has a great attitude and big set of balls.

Honestly i consider Adamek a very good boxer and a warrior so considering it an upset would be discrediting him.
Klitschko is the favourite but i give Adamek a very good chance.
Hurting Tomasz won't be enough,he will never give up...his mind is too strong. If he takes Wlad into the later rounds it will be a war.

Your post just gave me a good feeling all over!;)

I certainly hope you are right...as long as Adamek can prevent getting nailed one good shot by Wlad, I think Adamek will be able to touch him many times duringthe fight. He has to stay either inside or outside of his range. Once he's on the inside is when we'll see the 3 to 4 punch combo's.

My birthday is early September, & if they make this fight around then, what a birthday present it will be...

    IF, Adamek wins, of course!
