Excuses from boxers that cancel fights

    I think it's in pretty poor taste when professional boxers put up excuses to cancel fights they don't desire because they already signed contract.

    Like what Abner Mares did to run away from Jhonny Gonzalez. He didnt wanted to get his ass taxed again.

    What are some fights that have been cancelled because of that, and what did you thought back then?

    David haye vs take your pick. I've noticed in the last few years way too many fights getting cancelled for, probably bogus, reasons. Just don't make the fight if you're going to ***** out.

    Ward said that Kovalev is too big for him. Ward refused to even answer Stevenson on HBO after Stevenson called him out, even said he would fight Ward at 168, but Ward still refuses to fight him...................Ward is retired.............

    if stevenson really wants it he can move down to 168 and fight a froch or even a groves to earn a shot at ward.

    Right, like Dawson fought guys at 168 bef.... oh my god! I just realized Dawson was the Champion from a higher division, and came down and got the Ward right away!

    Stevenson has already proven himself by beating Dawson, Wards last fighter with ANY name at ALL. Not to mention he was beating the tar outta fighters at 168 before he moved up in weight to drop Dawson in round 1.
