It's possible to outbox Wilder, but find the will to rise off the canvas maybe 3 times, lose by SD. "Oh if it weren't for that slip the ref called a KD simply because Fury dragged his hands, elbows & knees across the canvas... and the 1 flash knockdown...he was only on his back for 7 seconds...and they call that a knockdown? Jeesh. He had one KD down for only 9 1/2 seconds. Better ref would've called only 1 legit KD & Fury would've won." There! excuse provided.
They’ve definitely had their share of glassware over there but then Wilder’s chin doesn’t exactly look like it’s carved from Mount Rushmore either.
How would you know? He got knocked down twice but besides that, he escaped rather unscathed. If the same logic were to be applied to Whyte, he would be considered a glass jaw now.
There surely cant be any excuses. We all know that Wilder has the boxing ability of a young Charlie Zelenof but he posses a right hand that can sleep any man. His tactics come fight night wont be a surprise to anyone so if Tyson does get KOed he cant say he wasnt expecting it. Hes had plenty of time for camp, to get in great shape, nail down a game plan and should be able to execute it come fight night.
Like he accepts he lost the first McDermott fight and was handed an absloute gift Loke he gave his full purse to charity Im sure he will accept his best got bested We on about the same fury right :?
You are proving my point, I was making up an excuse that people will use for Fury...the same one that gets recycled on these forums anytime someone wants to diminish Whyte's win over an opponent... like say Browne.
I don't see how there could be any, he was nearly knocked out in the first fight. As someone who thought Fury dominated the first fight, the fact remains that he was nearly planted into the ground and 98% of fighters wouldn't have gotten up in round 12. He literally beat the count by one second. It's very feasible to see him getting planted and not getting up. Ortiz got dropped and got up in the first fight, didn't make it in the second. That could very well happen in this rematch as well. Personally I think Fury UD's Wilder but him (Fury) getting stopped is definitely possible.
**** off, Browne was **** and you know it. A true hype job if there ever was one. Credit to Whyte, as it was a tremendous performance, and he proved that he is way above someone like Browne. But Browne was never any good. What did he ever accomplish? Scored a come from behind KO over Chagaev. An old, fat, unmotivated Chagaev who rarely stepped into the ring at all. All Lucas Browne really had, were his heavy hands and an OK chin. He went life and death with quite a few sub-par opponents.
Sorry I understand your frustration with my comment, I shouldnt have said win... i should have said KO as I was alluding to the KO rather than the calibre or Browne as an oponent they said browne was KOd previously and had little resistance left by the time Whyte got there
Fair enough But we are talking about Lucas Browne, right? Because he was undefeated when he faced Whyte. However Browne had been knocked down in at least 3 previous fights. Highlighting that his chin was OK at best.
Wilder will KO this fraud and he'll just say something like he wasn't fully prepared and he'll come back even stronger.
