There can be no excuses. Hatton was outclassed by the better man and won only two rounds on my scorecard.

I must say i was pissing myself when i see the replay of the first knockdown and im a Hatton fan ! The way he bounced off the turnbuckle was priceless.

To me, Ricky should go back down in weight take a gimme then go after Witter.

I read that Sky Sports article this morning. It's a complete load of bollocks.

The article on the BBC website was spot on.

Mate, you better stop trying to turn damn near every topic into racial discussion. It hasn't gone unnoticed.

You can understand the Brits writing the story a certain way. That was their guy. It was a very emotional fight for the whole nation. I think they view Hatton as the perfect embodiment of what the UK is all about. That had to be hard to watch the guy not only lose but get blown out. The only thing that matters though is the official record and that record says Floyd knocked him the bleep out!

There's a lot of talk about this point deduction. Hatton was losing most of his rounds anyway. Even without the point deduction he was trailing far behind on points. Also, to say that this point deduction affected his tactics is weak, because the tactics were going to be the same anyway. He was far behind on points (even without a deduction) and his only realistic option was to go for the KO, which Mayweather saw coming.

As for always stopping the fight, it was a boxing match, not a grappling match. You can't complain about a fight not having any flow if the fighter chooses to grapple.

....and you forgot to add that Ricky also said (about Floyd using his elbows)...."I've said it before, its not a tickling contest and i would have done the same thing"

You're pathetic. Take the chip off your shoulder before you have someone's eye out with it.
