I'm in the Red Corner, the proper action starts around 2.45 because the headguards came loose, any pointers?:)

    A few pointers:

You hold your hands stupidly high. When you do that you are VERY open to body shots. Your punching form needs improvement, you aren't getting your body weight behind those shots. Poor defense (you have little headmovment and you need a tighter guard. Also, when jabbing use shoulder to protect your chin)

As a tall fighter you should really be pumping that jab more often and when the small guy rushes in at you, try tying him up or leaning on him. Overall, okay stuff, how long you been training for?

    nice shoeshine combos there :)

arranmcl said good things about your guard. you were fighting shorter opponent, no need for high guard as he always runs in to you with body shots. And you had longer reach, rights over jabs needed.

hi,,,get your trainer to show you how to cut of the ring if your going forward ,,you was following your opponent around the ring to much ,,also your hands are to high ,you need to protect the chin & body not the head thats for bob & weaving

    hope that helps

Thanks for the advice lads, just wondering how do you cut off the ring if your opponent is moving backwards? I thought if your opponent was moving backwards in a straight line then you simply just moved forwards and that cutting off the ring was only for if their moving side to side?
