    Hi guys,

I'm a boxer in the US at West Point. Our "season" is winding down so we're having a little informal sort of tournament just to try and stay sharp. I had a bout last night and was looking for some feedback:

I'm in the white gloves. I look alot smaller because I am; I usually fight at 132 or 139 and this was at 150.

It was a really close, split decision so I'll let you guys know who won in a bit but I'm curious as to who you would pick and why, and any tips as to how I could improve.

So that was the Semis. The finals were tonight:

Ermm, well it was a very close fight, but I think that you edged it due to your aggression more than anything else.
As regard to tips, just try and use more head movement on the way in, and try and be in and out of range to get your attacks off because of his superior reach.
    Pretty good fight, well done.

Don't lean back when in range what you did in 2nd round with your hands down ever. Your chin was caught too high up in the air which is why your head got rocked backed. You should twist in more with that right hook to the body but good job mixing it up and you were clearly the fitter guy in there. Work some feints in too you started 3rd well jabbing your way in but then abandoned it for some reason.

Thank you all for your feedback! I tried to incorporate it into the fight in the "finals" which were tonight. I feel I was especially better at incorporating more jabs, although that's inherently easier because the fight tonight was against someone more my height.

I did win the first match.

Still hungry for feedback if you've got any input.

Nice bodywork.Try to jab your way in and then unload on the body. And work on your righthand to the body-but you threw a really nice hook to the body.

But the main thing I saw is that you loop your righthand to the head-work on throwing it straight.

I watched the 2nd video by the way.Fight could have gone either way but I think your punches had alot more impact then his.
