i do not like holding and hitting.

watching the fight this morning malinaggi did a lot more holding than hatton and a lot less hitting and yet a lot of people enjoyed it and thought he won going away.

there are double standards going on.

I see already the heat this match-up creates. Two very interesting characters, one with a large fan-base but not much liked in the U.S. the other is a controversial figure with some fans and some haters. Two very different personalities, very different styles, a legitimate world champion vs. a title holder and two fighters who was beaten by two bigger guys (Cotto, Floyd) go at each other.

That’s cool and now with Malignaggi’s closer than most expected win over Ngoudjo it’s a pretty hard fight to predict and everyone have their opinion that pumps up the heat.

There’s a lot of people who think Malignaggi will school Hatton with his speed and his style. Lot of people sees Hatton destroying Paulie. Others, Paulie-haters just want to see this guy on the floor and predicting Hatton and claiming that Malignaggi is overrated. Others want to see Hatton’s face tagged all night as they think he is a fluke.

Great match-up. Excitement, controversy, contrast written all over it and it’s not a hard fight to make IF HBO steps in and say: let’s get it on!

    Easy fight for Hatton.
But who would want to pay to watch Paulie --- Cant Break an Egg, Run Like a Rabbitt Malinaggi fight.
    Boring.
