You might be right. Age and inactivity has to catch up to Hopkins at some point. I might have to rethink my pick of Hopkins TKO and change it to UD.

One fight where I felt Hopkins' age really showed was his win over Wright. Still doing enough to win, I felt there were times where his athleticism showed to clearly be on the wane. He then looked great against Pavlik, however.

He will pace himself slowly but surely. I doubt he will be rusty. The man is always in amazing condition. He just wont be aggressive(as he usually isnt) from the get go. He will be conservative and pick his counters. and will win this fight rather easily

to add to what I was saying I k now he is old but he wont put himself in a position where he isnt fighting his fight. he will stay very consistent. which is why i dont think he will be rusty. it wont be pretty in a glamorous sense but he will effectively dominate ornelas

    Oh well...

Fortunately for Hopkins, at least he's wasn't THAT rusty, but got caught a bit more often than usual. This performance is a good sign coming off a 14-month lay-off.

The biggest question is: WHAT NOW? :think

Either Bute or Haye is what I'd like to see.
