Relentless mentioned using it before with his shoulder. You should ask him. Also Alex Ariza uses it with his fighters.
It made a huge impact on recovery for me. I'm talking going from debilitating soreness for 3 days after a leg workout to not even feeling like I had worked out by the next morning. *stacked glutamine with creatine, beta alanine, citrulline malate, 16oz gatorade, and some vodka for preworkout, just glutamine, creatine, and a shake postworkout.
I don't take anything more than what's in my GNC pack. I know I can work out every day of the week if I so choose when before I used to have to take breaks after hard work outs.
The only thing special I take outside of protein shakes after a hard gym day are GNC MegaMen Sports vitapaks. I've heard there's better stuff out there but that's what I use.
It's good. I used it for a couple years, L-Glutamine will be found naturally in whey usually. Generally it will help your muscular recovery and even help you when you're sick http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/magazine04/glutamine.htm
I was getting **** DONE back then lol. Glutamine, creatine, and whey are the big 3 in my opinion. Most other supplements only seem to provide trace effects or nothing at all. Those three all had immediate and obvious effects on my workouts.
