I feel the same about this bout. Kessler was taylor made for the versitile andre ward. Ward's team had a perfect gameplan to make kessler go backwards or fight at very close quarters. Wards speed and defense in close didn't let kessler throw the straight shots he likes and his constant landing made kessler throw half hearted punches that missed 95% of the time. Froch is the complete opposite and doesn't like to fight inside. He likes to fight like kessler does and that is at distance. If froch does come inside, it will be when he knows 100% that kessler isn't gonna fire back. I see kessler landing some mean straights on froch's lackluster defense and ultimately stopping him.
I see kessler winning in this one , and winning big. I would be surprised if froch makes it to the final bell.. I would also be impressed with froch
the title of this thread is the gayest thing I've read on here for some time. Don't get me wrong, I'd watch it.
Gotta love the Super 6! It's a tough one to pick for me. It could be Kessler-Andrade 2 based on style but against Perdomo and Ward Mikkel wasn't anywhere near as sharp as he was a few years ago. Some of that may have just been awkward styles, some of it also may have been horrendous preparation(how do you not bring in a single southpaw to spar with?), but if there's an opponent for Kessler to get his timing for his combinations back in this tournament it's Froch.
If Froch beats Kessler than the entire super 6 will except maybe green or dirrell, but not both though.
That prediction is expected. Froch is the worst fighter in the tournament technically. The only things Froch has going for him are will and heart. The guy is a KO waiting to happen.
But that's what I'm saying is part of the drama. We don't really know where Kessler is at this point. And as I said in a poll, for all the flak Froch gets he SHOULD have lost by now. Pascal, Dirrell, and Taylor should have all beaten him easily based on athleticism and technical skills.
In english he means if froch beats him then everyone else besides dirrell and Green can. I think it's a stupid ass comment myself.
