Slightly better, given that he was throwing more combinations in thy first round as per Freddie roaches instructions. But still shot and not fit to go the distance.

And Frazier was good with.....? Chuvalo and Jimmy Ellis?

Frazier went 1-4 with the best guys he fought.
And Tyson went 1-3 with Holyfield, Lewis and Holmes.

I dont really see that much of a gap in class.

P.s Oh and Tyson beats the living **** out of Frazier.
Frazier wont be seeing the 6th round.

Frazier would be one of Tysons easier opponents.

Face forward pressure fighters tend not to do very well against punchers.

    See:
    Hatton vs Pacqiauo
    Chisora vs Haye
    Frazier vs Foreman
    Margarito vs Pacqiauo.

    38-year-old Holmes. :rofl

Tyson wouldn't have lasted the distance with 1971 Ali.
He would have been battered from pillar to post.

Ali doesn't have the power to hurt him and in any case Tyson has an easy night against any post exile version of ali.

    I was comparing styles.

And I stand by what I said, face first, pressure fighters tend to run into bad luck vs punchers.

If you disagree, lets see some examples.

Tyson is not going to be gotten rid of with one punch to the face

If Frazier can keep close to Tyson he will give him nightmares, if he survives the early rounds and doesn't get tagged then Frazier would stop him.

Please don't tell me Frazier's resume was inferior to Tyson's.

Ali had the power to stop Foreman and Bonavena whom both had much stronger chins than Tyson.

Foreman collapsed due to exhaustion factor, not because they were hurt. Secondly I was talking about post exile ali whom we can all agree was not the same fighter.

So why can't Ali do the same to Tyson?
You're right. He hit much harder and sat down on his punches more.

Ali failed to put a serious dent in shaky chinned Ken Norton in three bouts...
