How exactly does Tyson have the stylistic advantage? A large part of Foreman's stylistic advantage was his tremendous height and reach advantage. Tyson would not enjoy any of these. Tyson would always be looking to throw that uppercut. That is the worst possible thing to do against a hooker because it leaves them completely vulnerable to the hook. (This does not apply to Foreman because of his significant height and reach advantages) Tyson will be even more vulnerable because he will be using his right, which would leave him completely vulnerable to Frazier's patented left.

Is that why the result reads "DOUGLAS KO10."? :D

    You're being ridiculous.

Douglas was a 230 pound guy and he nailed Tyson over 10 rounds with every punch in the book before knocking him out.

Frazier was flattened, yes flattened, by Foreman in a heartbeat. It was over after the first knock down. He was also knocked down twice by Bonavena.

Tyson showed a granite chin against Ruddock.

Absolutely. When did you ever see Tyson get up and try to fight back twice, never mind 6 times in one fight?

You don't even need to particularly hurt Tyson badly to dishearten him. Just keep hitting him back and he folds. And if anyone was ever going to hit Tyson back, and with interest, it would be a prime Frazier.

**** off with this hit him back and he folds bull****.

    Look at this video.

Look at the MONSTER punches he takes from Ruddock, an athletic 240 pound giant who was a bonafide one punch knockout artist. Sonny Listons friend who worked with him closely in training camps said that the punches he saw Ruddock throw are of a completely different caliber. It is VERY possible that Ruddock hits harder than ANYONE Frazier faced, including Foreman. And yet Tyson soaked up all the damage and always came back throwing.

You didn't mention, was Frazier counted out or did he get back up and continue to fight?

As far as revisionist nonsense goes the above is in a league of its own I'll give you that much. Of course the fight was completely one sided, but Foreman NEVER looked like flattening Frazier, hence he kept getting straight back up when he was KD'd.

Now if you believe that the stumpy armed little Tyson is going to be able to shove Frazier back to tee him up for uppercuts the way Big George did, then good luck with that theory. I'm certainly not buying it.

It's really pretty straight forward. Tyson was quicker, had much faster hands, threw much better combinations and had significantly more power. He was also a fast starter and not likely to be hurt early. A disaster for the slower, smaller, one-punch Joe and his wide hooks.

Utter bull****? It's bull**** to think that a massive giant 30 pounds heavier than Liston hits harder than him? Sorry, but some of you guys need a reality check here.

Heavyweights have gotten bigger. That's an undisputed fact. They hit harder, they are stronger and more durable. Who was the last great puncher in the heavyweight division weighing it at 210-215 pounds like Liston in his prime? Probably Tyson. Who, unlike Liston combined speed, technique, leverage and explosiveness to generate power. Why do you think this is?

Certainly, Liston hit like a truck and so did Foreman. But let's not be close-minded idiots and act like nobody hits harder than them because a bunch of guys THEY fought said so.

My problem with you (besides your obvious bias) is you post a bunch of statistics, and ignore your wrong on most of them, yet continue to stand by it and post it.

Then point out what's wrong with "my statistics" and put forth a reasonable argument.
