Why is it when Tyson loses it's because he folded but when Frazier loses its called something else?

Are you telling me that Joe Frazier being unable to win a single round against George Foreman (in two fights) and getting bounced around the ring is somehow a positive or a source of strength? It's almost as embarrassing as Patterson getting wasted by Liston in one round!

Frazier was 1-4 against the "greats" and his resume is thinner than Tysons. They both have 9 straight title defenses but unlike Frazier, Tyson was able to find some success after losing his title and has far better depth in his resume.

In terms of who beats who? This isn't a 50/50 match; in boxing anything is possible but I just don't see Frazier with a path to victory against Tyson. He'd end up on the wrong end of a highlight reel.

Micheal Spinks was a great fighter. Larry Holmes was a great fighter.

To be honest the off night Tyson took quite a beating before being stopped.

Holmes was past it against Tyson. Do your homework..Spinks was a great light heavy not a great HW

Well that's your opinion. Joe had the kind of guts and tenacity that Tyson didnt. I'll take Fraziers guts over Tysons overblown highlight reel against guys that didnt come to fight

Holmes was still a great and that's why I mentioned him. Tyson was past it against Lewis but that doesn't seem to matter as much does it?

As for Sprinks? He was a great fighter period. He moved up and beat Larry Holmes. He was undefeated and never been off his feet in his entire career. Tyson did to Spinks what Dempsey should have done to Tunney and what Louis should have done to Conn.

Show me an example of a situation of where pre-prison Tyson had shown any less heart than Frazier.

Arturo Gatti had guts. How much did that help against De la Hoya or Mayweather?

Holmes was still great? Lol he was past it by 84. Were you ever around for the mans prime??
Spinks was a great fighter but certainly not a great HW. Your wrong on both accounts so as far as that goes I'm done wasting my time on that part of it.
Did Tyson even try against Lewis? I guess only he really knows. Did pre prison Tyson really have to really have to face any adversity where he had to really did deep?
Look bottom line like I said earlier Tyson never beat an ATG. If including Spinks makes you feel better than by all means. Frazier beat the greatest HWC of all time. What he did in Manila Tyson couldn't hold a candle to.
That's all I got to say about it already.

It's funny because when someone brings up to Tyson fans that Tyson never beat anyone great, Spinks ALWAYS comes up but when talking about Frazier's best wins Bob Foster doesn't count because he was a blown up light heavy.

Frazier wasn't champion until he beat Ellis, he then defended against Foster never ranked at heavyweight,Ali, Stander never ranked at all, Daniels never ranked at all and Foreman who kod him and took his title. Mathis wasn't ranked when Frazier beat him for the NY version of the title, Frazier defended against Quarry ranked,Bonavena ranked , but neither Zyglewiz or Mathis were ranked and Ramos only got in there on the strength of beating a used up Terrell

Both were great fighters the difference was Foster was never ranked at heavyweight and Spinks was the recognized heavyweight champion, having defeated the lineal champion Holmes twice!

I certainly could see Joe winning. The more I watch prime Tyson fight the More I feel fighters with equal skill and more heart will take it (have to have a chin though )
