Faster starter yes.. takes a better punch? Very highly debatable

 

This is an excellent point imo.

Mike was an amazing fighter, but Joe never lost to anyone of Douglas' (lack of) stature. He drew with a mediocre Jumbo Cummings about eight or so years after his peak. That's it.

It says a lot that Joe was only beaten by the #1 and roughly #5 or 6 ATG.

 

How many punches did Douglas land on him first to set up that KO it was a beatdown over several rounds.
Tyson faced lots of heavy duty punchers , big men too, Frazier faced one and went down everytime he was tagged.
Can you imagine Tyson being dropped by Mike Bruce or Bonavena?

 

The public were not judges.
You tried to make a comparison between Bob Foster and Mike Spinks.
I pointed out that Foster was1,never ranked at heavyweight 2.never beat a ranked heavyweight.
3.Spinks beat the lineal champion twice4. beat Cooney and Tangstad and5. was the reigning undefeated champion as well as being undefeated at Light heavyweight.
Now don't get sore your silly comparison has come back to bite you in the ass!

Frazier spent a week in the hospital after FOTC, and his face looked like he had stuck it in a hornet's nest.If he was hard to hit how did this happen?

15 rd fight.... Did u see the size of Ali's jaw?? Thry thought it was broken. If you would h as very done your homework you would have known Frazier was in because they couldn't get his blood pressure under control. Something he battled his whole life.

 

Lol first off I dont have to do anything just because you say so.
Ali said Shavers hit him so hard his kin folk in Africa felt it. He used the same line befor that after Foreman. Talking just always running his mouth ffg or the press. But when he did real interviews without his same old song an dance like when SI did a feature on the 2 of them he was actually man enough to give an honest assessment of Joe. I might add he also stated that if he were ever in a war that its Frazier he would want to share a fox hole with.
Now on a side note I come on here to pass the time ..have some fun..and gain some knowledge and give my opinion.
Just because my opinion doesn't jive with yours means I'm gonna keep going back as and forth with you day after day. You dont like Frazier and that's fine. Im not trying to twist your arm too. I've read all the Frazier books watches all the Frazier Ali documentaries particularly the 2 on HBO and read Ali's autobiography. Not to mention hundreds of magazine articles. So look your now to the point where your just not worth my time. It's one thing to be objective its another to be hateful. This went from Tyson Frazier to now Ali Frazier. You can look up probebly 50 Ali Frazier threads in the archives.
Bottom line Tyson never beat an anywhere near prime ATG. And quite when the going got tough against his closest to prime ATG in Holy. Frazier won FOTC case closed now. See you later
