Ruddock was 238 pounds heavy in the Tyson rematch. The video that I posted was their rematch. How am I wrong?

    That's your opinion.

Tyson was not bigger than frazier, being 10 pounds of packed muscle added does not make you bigger, their frame were similar, i would say that frazier had even thicker frame in legs, tyson was all mass.they weighed exactly the same in the amateurs, simply they did adapt their bodies to different eras. Just look at tyson in his 40s next to joe, when tyson lost his mass, his frame was not huge.. You could argue that frazier looked even bigger of fists, skull, legs

Ruddock was MUCH better at 228 in their first fight. Your just using the highest weight you could find to support your argument. But fine, I'll let you use that weight. Liston was 219.5 in 1961. So that's not even 20 pounds. Let alone the 30, you claim.

The elitism on this forum is reaching re****ed heights.

Is it so inconceivable to think that your heroes of the past were not the the monsters they were made out to be? Ruddock was one of the hardest punchers of an era flooded with an unprecedented amount of big and skilled super-heavyweights. He understood and used leverage to its maximum and scored some of the most chilling knockouts ever seen with his left hook/uppercut. Why couldn't he hit harder than Foreman? Again, I'm not saying he did. But why is it unfathomable to think that he could have?

With H2H ATG's, Frazier was perfect for defensive fighters, and boxers who fought on the outside. He could slowly break them down.

But someone quick and powerful like Tyson would be a bucket of water on the smokin!

Foreman was THE HARDEST puncher of that era by all accounts. DEAL WITH IT.
Knocking out an aging Michael Dokes and annihilating a Frazier in his 20s (along with everything else in his path) are two completely different things.

    That's certainly up for debate.

Irrelevant. Ruddocks punches look devastating on film. That's all that matters. If you want to convince yourself that Foremans and Listons punches were from another realm in comparison to all others that's fine. But don't act like your position is set in stone and not questionable.

No it's not debatable at all. Everyone who was asked who hit them hardest ALL said Foreman. You will not find one account who says it was Ruddock.

Since your so confident, why don't you start a poll?

Everyone? Like who? I know Holyfield did. But Holyfield never fought Ruddock. Or a lot of the other big punchers around.

Either way, Foreman was 250 pounds heavy for his comeback, which should be taken into account.

I'm absolutely 100% certain that there was a possibility that Razor Ruddock hit as hard or harder than Foreman.
