In 1990 Hogan was slightly passed it. In his defense however, Hogan did kick out at three at WrestleMania.

Both Rahman & McCall, never poleaxed another opponent their whole carrers, like how Lewis was leveled. Shannon Briggs had Lewis on ***** street. I see Wladimir taking care of Lewis within 6rds.

The knock on the Lewis chin gets way exaggerated for mine. Two times in his career he had chin drama and both can be lessened a bit with deeper thought.

He had some technical flaws (lazy hanging left with chin exposed) going on pre McCall which were more than shored up by the man who exploited them as he went from strength to strength. Lewis actually offered $10m for a rapid rematch but the Bull was having none of it, preferring to offer up a lame excuse. When the Bull was actually fighting early in the rematch you could see Lewis' improved mechanics and knowledge at play.

Lewis' overconfidence and lack of shape for the Rahman match at 6000 above sea level are well documented. He was blowing in no time and fought a shocking fight. He put on an absolute clinic 7 months later and blew Rahman out of the water.

Lewis has actually beat swags of massive punchers and extremely dangerous fighters. His record reads like a who's who of big punchers across his particular era.

Given the love Tua gets in here i have no doubt whatsoever that many posters would be claiming Tua would have poleaxed Lewis if they'd never fought, no doubt at all.
