Expert writers take on Pacquiao vs. JCC.Sr, prime for prime

Pac's prime started...according to *******s AFTER he lost to EM lol... Chavez's prime started when he lost to Dlh and Kostya...according to *******s lol...

 

Chavez would beat pacquiao down in the late rounds. Chavez had better defence than people gave him credit for. He would cut off the ring and dig into pacs body for about 9 rounds before pac would end up tasting the canvas. Let's keep in mind its prime vs prime. Don't think of the chavez that lost to dlh. Think of the one that beat down meldrik, camacho, rosario, mayweather, haugen etc....

 

I used to think Pac would take this but after revisiting the Taylor fights recently because of that one thread up a day or two ago I would have to say having superior hand and foot speed does not guarantee you a win vs Chavez. I think Pac would probably mix it up the whole 12, clapping his hands together and going at it when Chavez nails him. For this reason I give it to Chavez. I favor Whitaker for obvious reasons, DLH, and Mayweather against prime Chavez but no longer Pac. In other words someone who would dominate from the outside and not get caught up in a Chavez style fight.

 

mexicans picking chavez is a no surprise... most of them are picking margarito to win against pac too.

 

I'm Mexican and a huge Pac fan, just judging it stylistically. I mentioned three ATGs I would pick over JCC prime for prime. Whitaker, DLH, and Mayweather. However there's other combinations of those same four.

Prime DLH loses to Whitaker and Pac but beats Mayweather and Chavez.
Pac beats Mayweather but loses to Chavez and Whitaker.
Whitaker loses to Mayweather but beats Pac, DLH, and Chavez.
Mayweather beats Chavez and Whitaker.

Not being a fanboy just thinking of their strengths and limitations.

 

Pac's flip ass would beat the **** out of chavez brutally.

Especially considering Morales and Barrera > Chavez.
