    Bookmakers use odds compilers that are experts in a certain field to help compile their odds, these experts think that Mayweather is an odds on favourite to beat Pacman, the current odds not only tell us that these 'experts' think that Mayweather will win, they think that Mayweather will win easily, let me explain, currently Mayweather is trading at 4/5 or 4/6 odds on to beat Pacman, Mayweather is a massive favourite with the bookies to beat Marquez currently trading between 1/3 and 1/5 odds on, if Mayweather does a job on Marquez as is expected, the odds on Mayweather to beat Pacman will come tumbling down, in this likely circumstance Mayweather will be at least a 1/2 odds on favourite to beat Pacman, possibly even a 1/3 odds on favourite.
    Bookmakers a very rarely wrong, they cant afford to be, otherwise they would be bankrupt. {they will even have factored in Mayweather being retired for 16 months and been 2 years older than Manny, what would the odds have been if Mayweather was not coming back from retirement ?}

    So there we have it, the experts think that Mayweather is not just better than Pacman, but in another league.

    Well I guess there is no use in the fight anymore. Let's just declare Mayweather the best boxer in the universe.

    In all seriousness its not shocking they would pick Mayweather. I always knew he would be the favourite coming in. Then again it would not be the first time the experts would have gotten a fight wrong. What were the odds on De la Hoya- Pac again?

    Actually if Mayweather is a heavy favorite to beat Marquez, and just a slight favorite to beat Pacquiao, then that means that even if Mayweather beats Marquez the odds will not change. If anything Mayweather has to win convincingly or else the odds might tip over in Pac's favour.

    Mayweather will be the favorite coming in you don't need to be a so called expert to see that, depending on how May beats JMM opinions might be changed.

    ha ha,it only takes one punch........
    surely that means in real non-bookie terms a 50/50 fight
    simple.
    they HAVE to give a margin to encourage betting

    It's a styles thing. When two prime elite fighters meet I would always favor the more defensive counter-puncher over the aggressive pressure fighter and history suggest this as well.:deal Not to mention PBF is the more well rounded fighter and can adapt to all styles never been badly hurt dropped or lost a fight and Manny has.
