:rofl Shooting blanks, ay? They weren't interested in Cotto-Judah or any Boxing, for that matter, because De La Hoya-Mayweather was garbage. A fight Mayweather was hyping as "Blood, sweat, and tears...a toe to toe battle."

 

My point if a Floyd can get 350,000 ppv from hardcore fan against Baldomir then Cotto should have still been able to match that or atleast break the 300,000 barrier. You don't have to blame Cotto's lack of drawing power on a whole other fight that didn't live up to expectations 4 weeks prior.

It doesn't matter if Cotto fought Floyd in his prime or in the twilight of his career, it would be the same outcome. Mayweather either by TKO or unanimous decision. Cotto has NOTHING that can give Floyd problems. Maybe he would have some intensity in the early part of the fight that would make Cotto's fans go crazy over nothing like they usually do but that's pretty much it Style wise Fatton presents more problems because he likes to wrestle. Cotto is NOT a grabber so it would be an easier fight for Floyd. Not saying it would be an easy overall fight(at first) but style wise just look at the match-up. Floyd has: Reach, speed, athletic ability, and most importantly Brains(yes he is much smarter than Cotto) and basically all the things that make Floyd who he is would eventually shut Cotto down. Cotto would CLEARLY get outboxed and as the rounds go on he would break down:-( People need to stop being delousional and except what the hell is in front of them. Mayweather is the best in Boxing who does things the smart way. He's fighting Delahoya for one VERY simple reason: MONEY. Why fight Cotto for less when he can fight Oscar for more? Hell i'd fight Delahoya 5 times if the oppertunity presented itself. And on top of all of that it's the biggest MONEY fight in Boxing with the least risk. He already beat him and will beat him again. If Miguel Cotto was in Floyds shoes he'd fight Oscar again too. That's why he wants Oscar or Floyd, Cotto wants to get paid. He's not gonna beat them he just wants to get paid Perfectly understandable but Cotto and his fans have to STOP being DUMB and face REALITY. He's just not in the same league:-(

 

Floyd was the #1 P4P fighter in the sport, who started his career 5 years before Cotto. He should be doing the bigger numbers, as he's had much more exposure. But all that is pretty funny when you consider, 6 years into his career, Mayweather was still fighting on regular HBO and not even in the main event. He was a b-side to heavyweights. At the same point in his career, Cotto was headlining a PPV.

Cotto's so called lack of drawing power is a myth created by Floyd , that he uses as a crutch to excuse himself for fighting an opponent who poses a threat. A mythg that his gullible fans eat up as law. 220,000 PPV buys says a lot more than being in a co-feature on regular HBO.

 

Who cares what Mayweather say? I am looking at the stats and they don't lie. You are so hi strung on Cotto there ain't no reasoning with you.

How has Cotto fought the better comp at 147? Quintana and Urkal don't count Cotto fought Judah, so? Floyd fought Judah first and beat him fair and square(regarding to Cotto's low-blows) Cotto beat Shane ok. Should have been a draw. Floyd fought Hatton and knocked him out.
