Ali speed does not mean his punches will get there first .

You guys are hyping guys up to ridiculous levels .FAR slower guys have hit Ali ,now a 6'9 giant of 85 inches of arm span and thats trolling ? lol Fantasy land is the only place where a guy like Fury DOESNT potentially defeat Ali .

Fury would probably win but I can see Wlad and Joshua giving him some trouble.

Size, speed and power is the key to beat him. They also need the KO to win.

I like Fury, he has skills, but he simply doesn't have enough to overly trouble Ali.
What does Fury bring to the table that Ali hasn't seen before?
    Oh sorry, he's big.

Wlad did NOT throw anything at ALL, so this Wlad was faster, more skilled or more powerful than X fighter is absolute RUBBISH..

Wlad prior to fighting fury was a low C level fighter vs Jennings and EVER worse vs fury. Jennings and fury were not the reasons he was so bad because Jennings doesn't belong in the ring with any legit hw and fury was every bit as bad as Wlad that pathetic night.

I have no idea how people conclude the same exact performance from 2 different fighters is great and horrible.

Wlad and fury fought the same exact fight, the only difference was fury was expected to be horrible while Wlad was expected to shine. Both were horrible and they are the ONLY top "name" hw that either could compete with and even beat.

Even Parker beats them both atm and Parker is barely top 6,7.. he might even #5, Wladimir and fury both will never hold a major title again, fact

You are obviously some kind of brain damaged handicap

Wlad didn't land anything because of Fury's superior foot and head movement

You can't even tell what's going on in a fight happening in front of your eyes that's how brain damaged you are

    Emmanuel Pacquiao ...

Rounds 1 to 4 ... Fury hindered by an expansive waistline is unable to reach his fists down far enough to hit Pacquiao. Pacquiao moves around the ring constantly ... occasionally moving in to land body shots on a vast target.

Round 5 ... after 4 rounds of exertion Fury falls to his knees exhausted. "No mas" he cries clutching his bruised stomach and gasping for air.

    TKO 5 Pacquiao.

Ali has never met a 6'9 guy with movement and speed . Alis basic lack of having difficulties blocking jabs would be his achilles heel here . Not bc Fury has a good snapping one but he would disrupt Ali rythm. What if Fury went into southpaw stance? Did you see the Mildenberger fight where Mildenberger gave him trouble ,even buckled his body down around the 9th rnd? This was a guy Ali said was his toughest fight and he didnt even hit hard .
Should we just ignore the 8 inch height differance and 60 pound weight disparity from Mildenberger to Fury ? I guess so .

1970's Ali could beat Fury but you guys as stated wont ever see overall realism to shrug off Fury, who would actually be harder than Foreman was to defeat for Ali bc then he has to out box and manuever around a awkward southpaw and also loses his reach advantage with that straight up style of hands down,an inside fighter as well and a speedy handed 250 pounder . .

Where do you get this Fury has movement and speed from?
Fair enough for a 6'9'' 18 stone guy he has surprisingly good movement, but it pales into insignificance compared with the movement Ali would give him.
He would have a better chance against the slower 70's Ali, but he simply wouldn't get near the 60's version, who would dance around him and toy with him.

As this seems to be any HW of all time vs Fury, i'll just make a start

    Muhammad Ali
    Joe Louis
    Lennox Lewis
    George Foreman
    Mike Tyson
    Larry Holmes
    Floyd Patterson
    Jersey Joe Walcott
    Evander Holyfield
    VK

Off the top of my head right away all theses destroy Fury with EASE. There are many more throughout history that i would pick to beat him very little to no problems but I can't be bothered to think right now

Patterson was glassed jawed at 190 pounds and Louis had enough trouble with Conn. Two ways to defeat Louis one was swarm him the other move around the ring where Louis slow pace would not to his advantage .
