Explain it to me -- exactly what is Eddie Hearn doing with Bam?

Help me understand this. Bam has a unification fight coming up against Cafu. A unification fight for world titles should ALWAYS be its own weekend of boxing. Instead... it's the same night, but different arena, as Usyk v. Dubois? Are you KIDDING ME?

I've seen one vid attempting to promote the fight. The vid is... Bam making his wife a latte, talking about maybe buying his favorite coffee joint when he retires from boxing, and walking his gay little dogs. THAT'S PROMOTION?

    Sigh.

Usyk-Dubois 2 is in the UK and Bam-Cafu is in Texas 6 or 7 hours later, they won't clash. Although Bam-Cafu will most likely clash with Pac-Barrios.

    Monday
Also both are on DAZN so there will be a big viewership / advertising during and following on into Bam vs Cafu.

DAZN probably wanted to have both on the same date maybe for that reason.

A good card in an early timezone will increase viewers in a second card a later timezone, even on the same day

It make perfect sense from a business perspective

Literally the best way to promote the BAM fight is to have to following on from Usyk - Dubois the same night

I do feel that Hearn has neglected Bam somewhat; the promotional clout he has given him does not correspond to his talent. However as it is there is nothing wrong with staging Bam vs Cafu on the same day as Usyk-Dubois II; correct me if I am wrong but I think only hardcore American boxing fans will tune in to Usyk-Dubois given it is staged UK time. Hopefully Bam vs Cafu can pick up both the casual viewers and the residual hardcore fans given it is staged during American prime time; I certainly plan to tune in to both, sleep deprivation be damned.
