Any one want to take a stab at why it's ok for pacquiao to catch weight Marquez - Cotto - Margarito (all championship bouts) but Canelo can't use a catchweight vs someone like GGG?

Because Canelo is a massive kid who would outweigh GGG on fight night in a 160 bout. Look at Canelo vs Cotto. I don't know what Canelo does to rehydrate himself to cruiserweight but that was probably the biggest size difference in a non-heavyweight bout I've seen, since Corrales vs Garcia, or maybe ever.

    Like itsa said BIAS!!!

Pacquiao got a pass for years because they so badly wanted him to beat Floyd. He could do no wrong until he loss the fight and now they **** on him and everything HE used to win when another top fighter does it.

When Canelo said that he would go down in weight to fight Mayweather before the Mosley fight and threw a fit because he fought Guerrero, people said it was because Floyd was scared. Canelo dropped 2 pounds and got worked and people call him drained.

Cotto when down 2 pounds for Pacquiao and got worked and people call Cotto a quitter. WTF!!

GGG will either bow to the new PPV King or move up.

just shut up about 106. he' was 15 ****ing years old. Do you know the countless other fighters in the ams who are 106 at 14-15 years old?

Guess what, Pac is NOT THE ONLY 15 year old who ever lived.

What a dumb post...Pacquiao actually moved up in weight to fight these guys. PAC came from flyweight division.

Pac doesn't come into the ring outweighing his opponent by 10 pounds.
