It's funny the logic people will use for this. Pacquiao has being weighting in at 147 since he was fighting at 122/26, and had a weight advantage vs a lot of his opponents coming through divisions yet somehow he's still a LW.
meanwhile Canelo who's been the same size as most of his opponents is somehow considered to be picking on smaller fighters go figure.

After seeing Floyd famous Biber leaked photo, PAC may be the bigger one between Floyd and them.

No bro. Pacquiao once rehydrated to 129 during a super bantam fight.

Bro look into those weights Pacquiao used to come in huge at 122,126,130,&135. Since Pac can make 140 they say he's not a WW but Canelo can make 154, and has never fought above 155 and is somehow fighting smaller guys.

Was Pac asking for a catchweight for that fight? To equate what Alvarez is doing to what Pac has done is not even being reasonable. I understand trolling so go right ahead.

who cares about all this "***** talk" yall are trying to say....

Canelo = biggest ppv draw in boxing at the moment
    GGG = isn't a PPV draw

if GGG wants canelo he will have to bow down in negotiations. Money, Ring Size, Gloves, weight. Read it and weep.

I was responding to this guys point where he said Pacquiao was rehydrating to 147 at superbantam.

Well he wasn't. I remember against Julio (I think it was that fight) he came in at 129 pounds on fight night.

Pacquiao was just trying to balance the disadvantage he was facing out a bit against much bigger men.

Alverez is just a chicken who weighs way too much on fight night to claim he is not ready for 160 and is only sticking to this pathetic 155 thing while GGG is hanging around in the division.

GBP are not hoping to weight drain GGG they are hoping that K2 just refuse to accept it and the fight doesn't happen. Not until they have squeezed as much cash out of Canelo as they can and only then will they sacrifice him for a good payout at the correct weight against Golovkin.

Ofcourse if K2 can get the WBC to refuse the catchweight or they accept it and really corner GBP then its fun times cuz Alverez is getting smashed.

how is Canelo a chicken when he's got a resume 1000x better than GGG? GGG just has to bow down in negotiations. GGG needs Canelo, not the other way around. No if ands or buts about it

The bigger man (Canelo) shouldn't ask the smaller man to come down for a catchweight.

That's just confusing as hell and stupid.

Canelo consistently weighs 170-173 on fight night. Golovkin is about the same.

He's killing himself to keep his weight there too. GGG is settling into his natural weight and frame.

Canelo is draining himself savagely. His normal fight night weight should be a lot higher, but he's killing himself to stay at 155.

That's why his stamina is poor.

This is such bullsh*t. Pacquiao was trying to gain an advantage over his opponent, no more no less. If he didn't think he belonged in the ring with them, then don't fight in that weight class.

Imagine if GGG was the champion and Canelo was trying to ask for a catch weight like pac did to Cotto?? This board would go into meltdown. There's a double standard regardless of whether you want to admit it or not
