Catchweights shouldn't exist for any title fight. They should only be to make a great fight happen in the middle between guys in different weight classes.

Sorry, the truth is pac was 153 for the 30 day weigh in for algieri, you either mistyped, misread the weigh in on hbo, or you're trying to make a case that can't be made due to the video that proves you wrong

Correct, of course 1 lb of anything will weigh the same. Difference is 1 lb of muscle is much smaller (in measured mass) than 1 lb of fat.

We're talking about boxers that have minimum fat as a whole over their entire body. Pac is a ww, full ww, smaller ww but still 150's on fight night. Him and fmj are the only ww I've known of that consistently come in within 5 lbs max of the ww weigh in limited on fight night

Not sure what video you're talking about. I'm referring to his team's statement and the press releases around Oct 27 that said he was 143. Show me the video, and I'll believe otherwise. I've never run across it.

    Youse wot m8.

I can type at a 3rd grade level and everything I say will still be in a league of depth and layered genius your puny mind can never comprehend.

Honestly reading anything you post is worse than using a catheter.

It was on the 24/7 or w/e that behind the scenes show was. He was, (shockingly to his cult following) 153 with 30 days till the fight or till the weigh in.

Thinking a little more, it was for a ww limit fight, was the cg fight at 143 or 44. I'm thinking that was a cw fight. I might be mixing that camp up with the Bradley 2 camp.

I know over the last few fights, one of his he was 153. Oh snap, I now think that was the fmj fight . Ya ya, that's why they had the 30 day weigh in. Yes, pac was 153 and fmj was 149?

Fmj showed his live while someone leaked pac was 153 which is what pac has been leading to ww fights since 2010/11. There's not a chance in he'll pacs a natural 140 lber at this advanced age. He could probably make it but fall flat on his face come fight night..

If you're curious, you can find that info surrounded articles prior to the fmj fight. I know what it was and doesn't matter to me in anyway to read it again. You might want to take a look, if you feel like being accurate in your statements.

I mix up past fights all the time, will continue to mix up but I only put facts out there. We can't have opinions regarding ones weight when they're pro fighters who step on the scale many times a year.

I know team pac was trying to keep his weight to themselves, didn't want fmj side to know they were trying to come in strong for the ko. Not sure who wrote it, but a simple pac 30 day weights should suffice

Nelo is a world champion at MW. He's naturally a Middleweight who cuts weight to campaign as a jr Middleweight. If he wants to fight the other Middleweight Champion in GGG he should fight him at 160....or he can decide to come in lighter if he wants.

When Manny fought catchweight fights with Cotto and Marg, Manny was moving up, facing bigger men. When he faced JMM, JMM was moving up so the catchweight made sense since at that time neither were true welterweights. If Manny was facing another champion at welterweight, and both were true welterweights there shouldn't be a need for a catchweight.

GGG is slightly bigger than Nelo but on fight night Nelo typically outweighs GGG. Manny never outweighed his opponents on fight night. He's a smaller man facing bigger men.

Not the case in this proposed bout between GGG and Nelo.

pac's body frame is small but he has bigger bones hence he is a small welter and more of a jr welter category. he was always the smaller man during his welterweight campaign.
