You are clearly a Wilder fan arguing otherwise
    Good day

Says the man with Fury as his profile picture.
Only if you take Eddie Hearn at his word. First they offer Wilder a flat fee, then they hee-haw about Wilder's counter offer then there is the DAZN bull****.

Maybe Wilder was blowing smoke. Hearn-Joshua were certainly dealing in bad faith.

    Reading comprehension.

Its actually quite obvious, given the context of the quote.

Literally the only person that doesn't seem to get it, is you.

This thread is full of fools who believe the DAZN deal was a guarantee.
    You definitely lack it.

Then please enlighten everyone on how signing a contract for 120 mill on a platform that offers no PPV(therefore nothing other than the flat fee) isn't a guarantee of payment

Surely thats more of a guarantee than fighting Ortiz in PPV

DAZN offered him $ 100 million for three fights if two of them involved Joshua. DAZN did not guarantee him a shot at Joshua, it guaranteed Wilder money if he fought Joshua.

Let me repeat it for you: networks cannot give you a guaranteed shot at another fighter. DAZN tried to force Canelo and failed.
I am not discussing Wilder's boxing abilities but his business decisions.

Wilder lacks a lot of things self-confidence (or self-delusion) not being one of them.

AJ wanted the fights, Hearn wanted it

Wilders team didnt even allow Hearn to be there

Even sacked Lou for wanting the deal

    Who was forcing anyone?

Duck squad said no and went off to try and raise their value by fighting Fat Fury

Let me repeat it for you

    Wilder ducked

Then why did they refuse a percentage split?
By winning against Fury I expect Wilder wanted to strengthen his position when he eventually negotiated with Joshua. How is that a duck?

Wilder wasn't worth it at the time so why offer more?

    He turned down 120 mill

He will never see that deal again

    Also a chance to unify

    Thats how its a duck

If they thought Wilder was worth less then give him a smaller split. Why posture with flat fees?
Then offer was contingent on Wilder fighting Joshua. Had Wilder chosen to tie himself to DAZN he would have been stuck chasing Joshua because Joshua had been defeated by Ruiz.
You and @Wizbit1013 keep dodging the issues surrounding the DAZN deal. DAZN made the same offer to GGG dangling a third Canelo fight.
Have you forgotten what happened to those plans?
