First of all, remind me of the last time you saw Pacquiao being hurt by a punch to the head. I think it was by a shot in his fight with Cotto, but even that lasted for like one second. I'd like to hear the board's views on how Pacquiao basically can't be hurt by a head punch, while he has eaten quite a few big head shots by big guys like Margarito, Cotto, and Clottey, all at least respectable fighters and obviously naturally bigger than him. Now Pacquiao admitted he got hurt by head shots in the fight with Margarito, but I failed to notice when (if somebody has rewatched the fight and can see it, please tell me when it happened). I've asked this again in the past, but I want to hear your views again. PS: I hope people don't turn this in a Pac-May bitching contest. :good
Oscar Larios in the 3rd round stunned him with a straight right i believe back in 2006-2007 against the ropes and it wobbled him but he recovered
he was dropped by a jab [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSI-TnZD2LY"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSI-TnZD2LY[/ame]
Pac's always been a rediculously tough guy. Much like Duran there is something special about his ability to take punishment and continue to fight and not decline as a fighter afterwards. Regardless of wt division thats always been the case. Now as far as the head shot thing goes thats a rare gift but uncommon thing that you can see sometimes in boxing. I think of guys like Daniel Zaragoza and Lebrado andrade, whom can pretty much take the kitchen sink when you throw it at them. Also Vera vs James Kirkland was another example where mentally a fighter just sees the punch coming knows he`s going to get hurt by it and just deals with it. Jake LeMotta is another example. These guys are pretty special It takes some serious mental strength. Fortunently for pac he gets hit way less then the rest of these guys. p.s. The shot MArquez caught him with was a freakin Duezzy too.
When was this? This is totally funny and what ATG goes thru that? And fools rank him higher than Floyd????? PATHETIC!!!!
I don't think Pacquiao was hurt by any shots neither Cotto nor Margarito landed. Margarito did land a body shot in the 6th that made Pacquiao almost go down.
Yes, and Floyd has NOT been dropped in his entire career. :hi: Pacquiao has, and oh has been Knocked-out too, right? This is why Floyd will forever be the greatest, if not at least forever ranked higher than Pacquiao. :hi:
Roy Jones got KO'd in less than two rounds...twice. Where do you rank him? SRR and Henry Armstrong also both got knocked out. Armstrong once got KO'd two fights in a row. You're an idiot.
yes floyd will be the greatest because he has not been dropped or ko'd in his career, that's some good basis right there atsch Good stuff, see francis wants to shoot himself.
