    :?

He's gotten a chance to face mayweather, Cotto, and now Mosley:huh

don't get me wrong, I like watching him fight, but I don't understand how the hell he continues to get beat, convincingly, and still get these fights!

There's no title at stake. On TV, it's all about money and the popular and exciting fighters are bringing the money. Judah is not that popular, but he's that exciting...

he's the perfect stepping stone .. looks good on a resume, but weak willed and a questionable chin.

Because there's always that chance that he'll actually show up, and embarrass the **** out of anyone he faces.

He's being use as a stepping stone for the elite fighter , basically he's no-longer seen as threat to any of the top 5 welters ..

Zab has mental and Physical flaws that no one thinks he can over come. IF he loses his fight against Shane, look for Zab to be gate keeper for up and comers and anyone trying to brake into the top 10.

zab has was the guy back then, best prospect etc., so why not? Win or lose he would always get into big fights. He's like gatti for example, win or lose still a big name, big payday

He's an exciting fighter. Either he KO's someone or gets KO'ed.

Power + bad chin = drama

Really this is what it should be about. he gives the fans what they want. People act like a loss is the end of a fighters career. it shouldn't matter if you are undefeated as long as you always put on a good show.

Ring still has him ranked #6 at WW. He's a known name that has proven he can be exciting as hell (well for atleast 6 rounds usually). And to be fair, after his loss to Cotto (in which in most people opinion, Zab's stock actually went up), he did his "time" and has gotten a couple wins fighting back on ESPN and even untelevised to work his way to stay in contention.

Also as was pointed out, this is not a Title fight, just a great match up of two ROCKIN' Welter Weights that this boxing fan is awfully grateful it has been made.

True. I think that having that 0 on the record is overrated and is really just what casual fans like to see.

Wouldn't you guys also say that his level of unpredictability as another factor? Sort of like the Tyson factor? I mean from his Tszyu KD to him blowing PBF to getting dominated by a much less talented Baldomir to even showing up and beating a Cory Spinks, he's unpredictable. You don't know what you will get with him.

Simple: Because he will take them. He dosen't duck and dodge. You offer the fight, he takes it.
