A guy who has failed in his two biggest recent tests? One a bad KO. Is it because he's well beatable by any chance?

He fought Parker, and is decent. I think it will be a good comparison fight.

Its a stand in on 2 weeks notice, who did you expect? they have already sold out a 70k arena, there isn't much time to negotiate while leaving 70k fans wondering if the event will even go ahead.

Dillion Whyte would be a better choice. At least he could conceivably have a chance of winning.

Basically not worth watching. About as competitive as Wlad vs Leapai.

Ask the IBF. They decide on the rankings

Why not Helenius? Whyte can fight Takam instead

Explain how any of them find a late replacement? Not the worst I've seen.

He lost to Povetkin and Parker, but here's the catch, he fought on even terms with Povetkin up until the stoppage, I had the match even before the last round, the Parker match could have easily been a draw, some people went as far as saying Takam was robbed, which I disagree with. Regardless, based on recent form, Takam looked damn good against Parker, Pulev looked average against Kevin Johnson. There should be no complaints about him getting a shot, especially on such short notice, he's a solid replacement.

Good opponent with 12 days to go and gets the mandatory out of the way. People were complaining about Pulev as an opponent and will keep complaining until AJ fights Fury & Wilder on the same night.

yes, or Whyte. They could have got Browne, Ustinov, Duhaupas, better than Takam for me. Kownacki looks available.

Takam was already a stand by, The IBF rules state if the mandatory pulls out it goes to the next contender which was takam.
