Exactly. Some fans always go over the top. Doesn't mean the boxer is **** or that he "had it commin" in case he lose a fight.
No, but a lot of time their supporters won't be reasonable about their fighters. They don't discuss these fighters, they praise them and won't accept criticism.
Everything ****ing bothers u. Every post u make is ****ing negative. You need to get laid or something man. Seriously. I've never seen u make a single positive post about anyone.
Diaconu has about 3 huge fans - nuthuggers - and about 4 normal fans...it's just that all of the above are pretty active. There is a thread about him, and a lot of stuff is posted in there. That's it. So...it's not as if he's that hyped. Froch has many more fans on ESB, for example - they're just much less active! The normal fans think he has a decent chance of beating Dawson and that he could be a belt-holder at 175...that's all. No p4p hyping or anything like that. Big deal! He matters a lot also because Dawson makes him matter a lot. Had he fought him and beaten him in October, we wouldn't be speaking about him now, most likely. But because Dawson - a p4p Top 30 guy keeps making such a fuss over having Diaconu's mandatory status revoked - he matters - some people think that Dawson might have a point - that Diaconu is indeed dangerous. Who knows, though? It's not as if Dawson is the sharpest tool in the box.
Good point about Dawson making Diaconu matter. Wanna get rid of him? Just take care of your mandatory obligation and fight him. Things are only relevant in regards to what makes them relevant. If Diaconu hadn't been a mandatory to Dawson he'd be just another fighter people talk about from time to time who might make some waves. However, since Dawson doesn't seem to want to fight him he's become a little more visible. Now with the WBC interim belt he's gonna bag on saturday he's gonna be pounding on the door much like Rahman did to Vitali and just recently, Peter did to Maskaev. Fight the guy or be stripped. Diaconu's not campaigning and trying to win support. He upheld his end of the bargain by beating Hoye. He got hurt prior to the Dawson fight but is ready to go now.
Yeah...honestly...if Dawson hadn't made such a big hoohah about not having to fight Diaconu, he would be spoken of about as much as Eric Harding...
Don and the web make Diaconu matter - Diaconu vs Henry can be seen live exclusively on DonKingTV.com for free beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET/10:30 a.m. PT (GMT 5:30 p.m.) from the Sala Polivalenta in Bucharest, Romania.
Apparently, The Shark is quite a draw in Japan! They loved him against Hoye! Either that or it's something sushi related!
If you actually needed something to measure the situation by look no further than the fact that the WBC interim belt has surfaced. Normally when that happens, as I mentioned in the other 2 examples, something isn't quite right.
After Diaconu puts Dawson on the balls of his ass, the answer to this thread question will be resolved. Then you'll understand...
:deal :deal :deal Not just that, but the WBC President has insisted on coming and crowning the new WBC Interim Champ in person! Long way from Mexico to Romania...
He's super duper overrated.. It's mostly posters from Canada or Europe that are hyping this guy up. He knocked out RICO HOYE and all of a sudden he's gonna be the next king of the Light Heavyweight divsion. And these same posters have the NERVE to say Chad Dawson is hype.
