Explain to me why Denis Boytsov is even mentioned as an opponent for Haye?

He doesn't have a lot of meat on his resume, but his manner of disposal has been good enough for people to see potential.

    i ask you...

who the hell has Dennis Boytsov fought to justify his name being put into a hat for a championship fight? Tyson fought alot of garbage like that coming up...but he was 18 years old...and by the time he was 19, he was fighting ranked guys, and in his 28th fight was fighting for the WBV heavyweight title....Dennis Boytsov is a bum killer.....thats about it......

potential is one thing, i agree....but to go from fighting guys that have lost 8 out of 9 fights, to Haye...is a recipe for disaster....

Boystov beats the current Chagaev, and I think it could go either way with Povetkin.

True, but on the other hand...if you look at someone like Kali Meehan, his resume is better (not so much in the win column really outside TOS, but he has far more experience against world class opposition) but I'd give Meehan much less of a chance than Boytsov against Haye...

chambers could give him some trouble! I still rate chambers very high!
Against fighters his size he can do alot of things

Because he is in WBA top 5 and holds WBA intercontinental title which makes him a top candidate by WBA rules.

"Generally, the highest rated boxer in the division, or regional champion rated in the top 5, shall qualify to be named the official contender by the Championships Committee, unless he is, or is likely to be, unavailable to fight for the title in the
    period required."

bystov isn't a bad fighter. chambers would give him a few troubles with outboxing him but id pick boystov to ko him late on.

    arreola?? are u joking?

chagaev is just a competent boxer like kotelnik but no more.

When he beat Bidenko, he was a serious challenge. Ring Top10 and such.
