Who gives a ****? PBF is the king of the sport and Pac is in China fighting Rios. I can guarantee you that PBF will make more money than Pac will in 2013 and 2014.

Floyd is being a drama queen. Im a bigger fan of floyd over pac, but floyd vs pac is still the most talked about fight. Each fighter is always asked about each other & theres millions & millions of fans always talking about who would win (IF) the fight happend. Makes the most money & gives the boxing community what they have been asking for. I bet all these fan boys saying "its old news" would be hyped as hell if the fight still happend. Cotto got KO by pac & gave floyd hell, so to say pac is old simply because of his KO is crazy espically because we have not seen him fight yet.

Its a matter of Ego's here. Arum is as much to blame but floyd does not make it easier by being such a drama quees. To offer pac 40 million & no PPV share is crazy since pac is #2 ppv draw. If your not a floyd nut hugger then you can clearly see that this was not a real attempt to start negotiaions with pac, it was a stupid offer with no real intent to negotiate. Floyd could of counterd maybe a 70% to 30% split with floyd taking 70% of ppv shares or whatever but aslong as it was a real attempt.

wether you agree or not this fight is:

Most (what if) talked about fight
    most demanded fight still
Both fighters will make the most money of there careers
Fight all casual fans & most boxing fans still want.

Well one of the reasons he's a drama queen is because he's the biggest boxer there is on the planent.

You cosigning this **** shows that you're just as big of a dumbass as he is. Not an ATG please. You may not like PBF but if he's not an ATG then no one else from this era is either since he's the best boxer of it.:deal

Holyfield: "No little guy in the game of boxing could ever make as much money as them two guys if they make a decision to come together and make it. But somebody's gonna get the decision and somebody's not. But you got to ask, who do it favor? If Floyd Mayweather don't win, it hurts him. (laughs) His whole legacy. If Pacquiao don't win, it don't hurt him any. He a nice guy anyway. He didn't supposed to be up there anyway. That's what people feel like, I guess. 'How in the world did he get up there?' But he did. So, you know. You know that Floyd got more to risk than Pacquiao. Pacquiao's the nicest guy in the world. Either way it goes, he's Pacquiao. He's a good guy. And that's the reason why, that's the reason it's so important to be a good guy. I heard Michael Moorer tell somebody this, 'You know, it don't make no difference if Evander Holyfield, if he win or lose. They still like him.' Look, I don't brag, and I don't put all that [. . .] I know each and every time I'm gonna give my all."

Interviewer: "What do you think of . . . it seems Mayweather is the one coming up with reasons to avoid the fight?"
Mike Tyson: "Hey, listen he doesn't want to fight the guy, it's obvious. He told the guy to (unintelligible). And I don't know if he's scared of him or not, but he just obviously doesn't want to fight the guy. Ok, that's just my opinion."
Interviewer: "Right. Why do you think that is?"
Mike Tyson: "I have no idea. When I'm champion I just want to fight the best in the world. I want to fight them all."

    At 5:37
Interviewer: "Did Floyd duck Manny Pacquiao?"
50 Cent: "Yes. He did. That's $100,000,000 and he just left it."
    Interviewer: "Why?"
50 Cent: "At this point, like, it's more him sorting out who's the perfect opponent than him fighting the toughest fighter to fight. You know, I think, when you go in the history books, if you actually doing it a bit differently. This is more business. And making the right financial decisions. How do you stretch out how many wins on your actual record, and the fighters that fight the toughest fighters in their actual time, are the guys that kind of go down."

this argument about who makes the most money is such an asinine thing if the two guys in question would make career high paydays fighting each other. Hopkins for years didn't make as much as Oscar or Tito. So what? The fight will sell because of two people. It's not like either of them is an unknown or an up and comer. It is (was) a once in a lifetime legacy kind of fight where who has made more over the course of their career is irrelevant.

Who has provided more excitement in competitive fights? I have gone to three Pac fights live, but, even though I like Floyd, I have never felt compelled to see something that could very easily turn into a Baldomir kind of fight.

Net worth only applies if you are talking about an Apollo Creed-Rocky Balboa or an Ali-Wepner kind of match up where one guy is clearly NOT the star.

I was mainly cosigning the reason why he chose Alvarez. He had no choice but would've ducked him if had the choice and would've fought someone like Amir Khan instead.
