I also think pirog's style causes golo problems. Golo was a great am, but
he's not the pro pirog is.

I disagree with your disagreement lol

This is the only 1 punch KO of his that i can think of.

Golovkin on the other hand has shown 1 punch brutality with both hands since the early 2000's in the Am's.

He certianly hasn't had the oppertunity to show it. After he gets that belt hopfully he'll fight either Sturm or N'jikam and we'll be able to see. I really do think he's as legit as they come.

Imo, Golovkin is significantly better and would KO Korobov.

I have seen Korobov four times and he never really seemed like much to me, but all I have seen of Golovkin is youtube videos. I don't think Korobov will amount to anything, but so many hype him up.

    Don't make me choose lol

Golovkin beat him in the 2003 worlds but Korobov wasn't at his best at that point. I really don't know man, right not i'd favor Golovkin but in a year + if Korobov lives up to his potential it'd be a pick'em fight.

I'm hoping they'll both grab belts and reign at MW lol

He had some srt of problem with his nasal passage and felt like it was affecting his performance. He got surgery for it and is back in training now. I don't think he's looked bad as you say but am interested to see if it makes a difference.

Take pistal47's comments with a grain of salt. He's still living in the cold war russian hating mindset.

You missed out on "bum." Usually on these forums a prospect becomes a bum after such a defeat

The ref was paid off and blatantly held Jacobs down.

This is a typical response to a prospect who loses for the first time. People LOSE in boxing you know! For every prospect with 30 wins, well guess what....there are 30 sad ****ers out there who lost to that particular individual.

Thread starter....where are you from? Your completely ignorant (most likely not your fault, because maybe you're from Britain, where everybody there has this American "hype job" complex, as if it were a cultural thing....unless it's an anti black American thing) claim that Jacobs was ever hyped by ANYONE is way the **** off. He wasn't hyped, plain and simple. Get your head out of your ass.

How would YOU have taken that shot? Being knocked silly by a perfect punch that you don't see coming does NOT mean you have no chin. That would be more due to a lack of focus. In that particular circumstance, an average man can knock out any man in existence with the right leverage, form, and pinpoint accuracy, as long as the recipient of the punch didn't see it coming, with their chin in just the right position. That punch would have knocked anybody out.

No charge, this one's on the house.
