    Of course you take painkillers during training. Have you ever trained for any sport, ever? If you're hurt, but not bad enough to keep you from competing, you take painkillers, you bandage, and wrap, and do whatever you need to do to be able to train at 100%. Then, come competition time, you just grit your teeth, suck it up, and hope the adrenaline masks the pain.
