I don't mean to boast but the shite the Hatton huggers gave me....I was spot on. It was competetive early, then Mayweather won going away and stopped his overrated ass.

 

i think that is a little harsh. hatton was outclassed, and eventually stopped in impressive fashion.

i admire floyd even more after that fight. same after hatton beat my favourite in kostya. bravo floyd, that was a masterclass exhibition.

but, that doesn't make hatton "exposed". yes, hatton had many flaws and i was wondering if hatton would go into this fight and try to block punches, or try and disrepect floyd's power. admittedly it's easier said than done, but a combination of hatton's arrogance, and floyd's ATG abilities sealed the deal.

hatton however IS still a top level fighter. will he be the same after this fight? who knows. maybe he might start actually trying to duck n weave etc to give him more of a chance against elite fighters.

i was wrong as i picked hatton to win, but as i mentioned in previous posts, i would not be the least bit surprised if floyd won in style. i might get annoyed at fighter's personalities outside the ring, but i never disregard their tools in the ring.

again, bravo floyd, you got new respect from this poster :thumbsup

Thats definitely not me. In fact I've been following Floyd's career since the beginning of his career when he used to fight on Tuesday Night Fights.

In the weeks leading up to the fight I stated I might be rooting for Hatton because some of the Floyd boys were bugging me. When I woke up this morning I found myself wanting Floyd to stop Hatton, and he did.

I've always appreciated Floyd for what he is. Same with Hatton. My brother has been following him since the beginning and because of that, so have I.

They both deserve props. Floyd is just the better fighter and you know what? There's nothing wrong with that.

 

If someone thought that he was going to beat MAyweather then yea he was exposed, but if someone (like me) thought he was going to put up a good fight but lose then no he is still the same Hatton to me. My prediction is that Cotto will knock Mayweather out and dominate him, if it doesnt happen he will be exposed in my eyes.

 

Hatton wasn't exposed assholes, he simply fought a better fighter. Just because a guy looses or gets outclassed doesn't mean he's "exposed."

 

Also just to add, I picked Mayweather to win this fight by late stoppage or UD from the beginning.

 

well said. i am always in awe at his in-ring abilties, but anyone would think he was a ******ed child outside of the ring. selling tickets is great but you can also sell tickets like kostya does or hatton does.

but yes, floyd is definately in the ATG group without a doubt.

 

Very true josak some people are just wankers though who can't accept that a good fighter can lose to a better one without being a bum.
