Nothing was exposed that we didn't already know about in Hatton's style. Great win for Mayweather, he deserved it.
I disagree there, I believe Hatton would have gone the distance if that was the case (partly becasue of Floyd's slightly smaller build at the time, and that Hatton seemed to have better stamina at that time and previously, perhaps it's all those years of yo-yoing up and down in weight as well). Still, I'm merely pointing out that Hatton wasted a lot of his career, where he could have been fighting tougher comp and developing.
That was a very poor result and below the level I expected from Hatton. Everyone will remember that I predicted a decision win for Mayweather by 6-7 points, but for Hatton to get stopped by Floyd was embarassing. I think alot of people have over-estimated Hatton here and I was one of them. I honestly thought that Hatton had improved and he would not let emotion rule his head. Well Done to Floyd. That is another challenger sent away with nothing. I wont go over the list of opponents that you could have faced though, but that you have not.:deal
:rofl Brillant. You're the best fighter of the past 25 years for beating Judah (Tzyu + Cotto KO), Castillo (as someone mentioned in the classic section, Chavez's sparring partner), Baldomir ('nuff said), and Gatti? Mayweather is the best p4p fighter today, but has no buisness claiming to be among top 20 fighters of all time. :good
How can you be so right on almost every boxing topic and so wrong on almost every political topic? Its amazing.
Hatton wasn't really exposed - just beaten by the better fighter who was able to capitalize off of Hatton's mistakes and the manner in which he works his way inside. The vulnerabilities he showed in past fights as well as his style were reasons why people were picking Floyd to win. And quite a few got it right on the money.
I always said PBF is a legend....and a legend and ATG beating Hatton makes Hatton "exposed"? Pathetic.
