    Someone remembers when Hattons people said in 24/7 "Ricky Hatton onedimensional??? They will see how onedimensional he is at fight night!"

    They were right

    Ricky Hatton is not one-dimensional he is zero-dimensional.

    :lol: Seriously you lot are pathetic.Your all singing a diffrent tune now.THIS FIGHT WASNT EVEN CLOSE.The gulf in class was IMMENSE! Guys here were saying Hattons body attack would be too much bla bla bla.The bottom line is whatever Hatton came with Floyd dissected and shoved it right back in his face.Thats EXPOSED.And you know why because the hype was NEVER justified.He was NEVER as good as everyone made him out to be.All of a sudden Hatton is human again. Puhlease.

    Strike you ****ing lemming be real. All the Hatton hype was completely unjustified. The kid had NOTHING to offer vs Floyd except a foulfest a bunch of elbows and clinching.I was almost expecting him to fling Floyd to floor and submit him with an RNC. Cortez did a great job making sure the Marquis of Queensberry rules were enforced.This is BOXING not the UFC.

    Hattons gameplan was to suck Floyd into a fight by roughousing him.You call that boxing? As soon as Floyd stayed in the cup Hatton was "like ****? His standing still Billy what do i do?!:yep" Hatton was being mentioned by zealots on this forum as though he was up there with the best fighters of all time.The hype machine has been laid to rest. R.I.P

    I havn't been arsed to wade through the bull**** in this thread, but the initial claim is well off

    The main issue I have is that fighting the best p4p fighter on the planet, and losing, does not mean you are exposed. I think you've got the wrong word

    Then again I expected this sort of reaction, from spastic yanks

    Anyway, as brave as Hatton was he had no proper game plan at all. His defence was barely existent and he just took Floyd's shots continually on the chin so no wonder he was stopped.

    He plowed forward like Lacy did when he fought Calzaghe.

    Hatton was no exposed, he only got beaten by a better fighter in Floyd. Still Ricky is one of the best fighter in this sport. It is not right to take everything away from him because he lost to Mayweather, Ricky put up a good fight and obviously tested the considered 1# p4p in the world.

    the thing is.....apart from an old zoo using what can only be described as dodgy tactics, who has hatton beaten. he lost to collazo,

    so that leaves maussa and urango (i am not going to count castillo - for very obvious reasons)

    He hasnt even fought the best in britain, so to step up to the best in the world was going to be tough and he was clearly beaten. Its typical british hype, we do it with all our sports stars. Calzaghe who is the real elite fighter is barely known compared to Hatton....shame

    Was he exposed? dont know...probably yes....but thats what mayweather does.

    If you think Oscar de la hoya wouldnt beat him up bad as well, you are nuts.
