There's a great chance Pac can expose Floyd. Think about it, Floyd has become a mega PPV star in boxing beating up a bunch of b and c rated fighters. he hasn't had a legit, elite fighter since Corrales and castillo. He hasn't been in fights with other ATGs outside a washed up Oscar and Mosley. Floyd is used to slow, less talented fighters. Fighting Pac is a BIG step up for Floyd when you take the last 8 or so years into consideration of who he's been fighting. Then you take a look and see Oscar, Maidana, and Judah gave PRIME floyd trouble. Judah and Maidana are not elite fighters either. There is a great chance Pac may be too much for Floyd and may expose Floyd. And this isn't the same Floyd from the Corrales or Castillo fight, he's showing definite signs that hes on the way to being washed up, he just needs a fast, elite fighter like Pac to expose this. And Pac isn't prime either, but he's not terribly far off. For Floyd to win, he has to fight on another level that we haven't seen in years from him. Pac just needs to be Pac. And make no mistake who wants this fight more, Pac does. I highly doubt this will be an easy night for Floyd, but it may be an easy night for Pac.
What a load of ****, seriously you need to find some new material. Floyds gonna slap Pacqiauo around like a spoilt child, all his wins over Barrera, Morales, Marquez wont mean **** come fight night , hell be in the ring of the best fighter of his era.
Kind of hard to expose a 38 year old, almost 20 year vet. Anyway, this should be a good fight. I can't wait to see what happens.
"Expose" Floyd? Floyd beat up a bunch of B and C rated fighters? What? So, Cotto, Mosley, and Marquez are B-C level fighters? Those three fighters aren't elite or "legit"? The FACT is that every one of Floyd's opponents since Genaro Hernanez have been champions, former champions, or top 10 contenders. He just MAKES fighters look like amateurs.
Interesting points but one thing to take into consideration is that certain fighters will always trouble others (Judah's speed for example). This doesn't neccessarily mean Pac will trouble Floyd (Though I do have Pac winning). But I disagree with one thing, Pac has definitely slipped more. I think people have emotions clouding their judgement. Compare the Pac that fought Cotto to the one that fought Algieri. Pacquiao was one of the most explosive fighters of recent times in that fight. Now compare Floyd of Canelo and the Floyd of Maidana 2. The only thing that made Floyd look a little past it was his game plan. He moved around a lot against Canelo and not so much against Maidana so he looked different but in no way does that mean he's past it. Regardless, I think Mayweather is going to have to dig deep and it will bring out the best in him. Though i have a feeling he will do alot of clinching but I'm going to save that for my ****ysis of the fight.
Bums like Canelo, Guerro, Ortiz, Maidana, Hatton atsch were always supposed to be easy fights for floyd, while they may be champions for something, they weren't ELITE fighters like Pac is. if you put a prime beast like Mosley or Oscar vs this current floyd, they would tear his head off. and you would see just how much floyd has slowed down. Luckily Pac isn't too far from prime I don't think and has speed to give floyd all sorts of problems.
