not to long ago the the heavyweight champion of the world, along with the Olympic winner of the 100m dash, were considered the ultimate achievement in sport. Both of these accomplishments were revered by school kids across the globe. Outside of Germany and the Ukraine (and a handful of diehard fans) most people don't give a ****. As i stated earlier it has been under the reign of the Bros the sport of boxing is slowly being eclipsed by MMA and Wrasslin. If it were not for Pac and PBF boxing would receive absolutely no headlines outside of Germany and the Ukraine. The Bros are the Hasselhoffs of boxing

Klitschkos are pretty good known at Europe over all. I remember when Lennox was reigning he was almost ignored in our Media. only time he was brought in main news in our country was time he fought against Tyson and Holyfield, I wonder why:shock:. And final time when he fought Vitali Klitschko. So Klitschkos especially Wlad is doing just fine here considered what last undisputed champ as Lennox did But I agree with that Klitschkos not Wlad or Vitali will ever be Global star and carry the sport of Boxing. There has not been a huge Icon since Mike Tyson left the sport.

And what comes to Pac and Mayweather:rofl If you ask some random Joe from the street here and nobody knows them. And there has never been a full page article about either man in big newspapers what I read. That is pretty good indicator to show how famous some current boxer are at the moment. I have read the same newspaper for 23 year. Neither of these guys gets even meantioned at sport News either.
