Translation: The quality of the American hw's is exactly the same as it has always been and Wlad would dominate in any era.
Wait!! You first posted that you didnt read it! You're just a lieing pile of **** Klitschko hater..lol:
As a huge NFL fan i know about the bounty scandal.. But the Saints (the team who used this program) got punished BIG TIME for doing it, so it is not a common thing in the league.. But that wasn't my point, i meant that there is more "insurance" for money in the NFL, there are about 1000 fighters per division, how many of them earn more than an average man? Many of them has jobs because boxing isn't enough, i doubt that any NFL player has a job to take care of.. In reality, there are only a few percentage of active boxers who earn more than a mill per fight.. And btw boxing is the most dangerous sport in terms of health..
Yet another shitty flawed argument from the OP. So a top boxer earns more than a rookie NBA player - so what? You should compare the earnings of top NBAers with top boxers, THEN compare rookie basketballers earnings with rookie earners. NBA players on average earn more than boxers. Plus the numbers at both rookie and elite level in the NBA are far greater than in boxing therefore it is easier for talented young sportsmen to earn money by joining the NBA.
I didnt read your opening post & still havent, I read others responses & you have failed again I wonder what part 4 will be? I just hope you post it in the Euro forum & stop cluttering the general up with your bull****. The NFL is a multi-billion dollar industry, average earnings for NFL players compared to HW boxers are so far apart its laughable, not to mention they get a free college education as well. You also need to remember that once you subtract manager & trainer fees, camp expenses & taxes from a fighters purse & the gap is even wider. Earnings in the NBA are even higher So much fail in this thread. Carry on KKKlit-hugging you window-licking mong whilst the rest of ESB has a good laugh at your stupidity
I could sworn that pac was the highest paid Boxer @ $25 mill last year. lets see, 1) a boxer gets paid to get punched in the face for a living NBA you bounce a ball. 2) Probably 99% Basketball and Football players have a FREE college education . . . maybe 1% for Boxers. 3) I Dabbled in all 3 sports at one time. You get a lot more ass playing ball! 4) A lot of big money is out there to support Football and Basketball players even at the HS level and earlier, in boxing zero $ 5) the average Boxer might make 30-60k a year . . . with a college education I think the average earnings in the US is higher. 6) A rookie in the NBA makes hellava lot more than someone in the first year of boxing 7) Many College football/basketball Players get "benefits" (cars, money etc) from the Alumni and other sources. Boxers get **** from everyone. 8) Most boxers have a "job" on the side. NFL/ NBA own business on the side 9) Kids want to be like Mike (Jordan not Tyson) 10) Its easier to find a field to play football or a court to play Basketball now than it is to find a Gym to train for boxing. 11) Boxing ain't as cool as even the shitty UFC right now, let alone Basketball or football 12) bubby is a butthurt *** who only watched 2 fights this year
Can you provide me with a link to this information? Because I'm sure motor racing is the most dangerous sports in the world.
There are probably several thousand (Assuming a 1000 NFL players, at least, along with NHL + NBA + MLB) athletes, around America, who make more than a few million a year for a relatively-cushy job. Just from their clubs. File in sponsorship, and that'd probably add a good half onto most player-earnings. There are like 50 boxers in the world, out of a far greater basic player-base, who'd make anything comparable.
I knew bubby was special! I do not think his mom or her brother/husband should let him go on the computer . . . he might hurt himself
Yeah I think the argument is nonsensical. I agree with the above posts about the 'elite' boxers earning more relatively than 'elite' NBA/NFL stars but an average boxer aint making **** compared to an average 'any other top sport athlete'
On another note, football (soccer) is the number 1 sport. in terms of most watched. CL Final > SuperBowl http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/8490351.stm
:blood He kinda proved that its not just a bogus theory. I thought you were saying that it was a bogus theory.
what you have to realize is that boxing isn't a big mainstream sport any more. Here are some points alot of people outside of the U.S. don't understand. 1. There are 32 NFL teams and 30 NBA teams in the USA. 2. There are 4 Heavyweight Titles that mean anything Just do some simple math for big men in the USA there are Approx. 160 big paydays in the NFL and 120 big payday in the NBA versus 4 to 8 big paydays in boxing. In the NFL or NBA When you turn pro you start making good money I'm not 100 percent sure about the league minimums, but I think the NFL is like $250k per year. For the most part in boxing its going to take you much long just to make that cash. Put Spinks against bird is no make a fair comparison, go life time earnings with Spinks and bird see where that comes out, I will let you know this much Spinks falls short of Birds earings. The biggest Boxing money makers over their life time makes $100 or $200 millon dollars. Larry Bird, Ervin Johnson and Michel Jordan is in the hundreds of millions during their careers in basketball. There is much more opportunity in the NBA and NFL than their is in boxing. whether you want to believe it or not the American Big men are not going into boxing anymore.
