There is so so soooo much more to just being a basketball nfl player than a pro boxer, for a start you have wages which as has been debated perhaps vitali cos i know that on your hidden agenda this is who your trying to make look good or lick his arsehole, really im not sure why but anyway ill get back to my point.
So a typical wage for vitali you have stated is 36mil?
    Kobe was 28mil.
Seems pretty clear cut but wait..... Because basketball is so so much more popular than boxing, companies like cocacola nike etc etc pay stupid ammounts to sponser these guys, im guessing in deals kobe makes his salary again just through sponsers, shoe sale % etc etc.
Which brings me to the conclusion that If I wanted to and had the choice to become either a basketball player or a boxer on the basis of money. Id pick basketball all day.
Theres no contest and its not even up for debate, i bet over half of the nba players make more money in a year than vitali or any other hw for that matter.
Sponserships are everything in sport, Lebron james makes 15 million a year in his bball contract, but has a 90 million dollar contract with nike, and thats before his other ones with sprite, powerade, upperdeck etc etc. That is a fact!

Can you give me a Top Ten run down? Better yet a Top 20. I'd bet that it's 18-2 in favour of NBA or NFL. NBA/NFL has more opportunity, you have to be No. 1 in boxing whereas you can make exceptional money being the 10th or 15th best player in the other sports. Don't be a mong all your life Bubby, this is some simple **** you've overlooked/poorly attempted to troll.

let look at the cuts in pay, Boxer: manager gets his cut, pay sparring parteners, pay for training camp, NBA: Agent. Forbe was showing net worth and what was made not including angent fees. Do top boxer really make more than the top NBA player I'm not sure could be close.

Gained, can't believe the ESB mods let such xenophobic racist **** like you stay on here.

Anyhow, the proof is in there for all to see. Elite level athletes from the US just aren't getting into the gym to become boxers. Our amateur scene is a joke, boxing gyms are basically non-existent, there's hardly a TV presence, and almost no-one pays attention in the mainstream unless it's Manny Pac or Floyd.. because they are told by the media they should pay attention.

To discount the fact that extremely gifted athletes are choosing other sports than boxing is just asinine.. but it's also not just a United States problem, but in many countries.

Also, the US tends to produce a considerably high level of athlete, our Olympic and World Championship sports results prove this.. yet we provide very poor levels of athletic talent in boxing at the higher weights.

RJJ could ball a little by the way.

You are mentally impaired along with ***s like Vladimer123, Champion, You really don't understand how it all works do you? I mean you wouldn't post this crap on a hourly basis if you knew ANYTHING about boxing. What a pathetic life you and the other tools have when you purpose in life is to just lie and to wind other people up. I suspect that you and the other Hobo Ejaculates mentioned above didn't get enough time on your mothers teet.

    Nevermind.....

Another stupid post from another stupid Klitschko hater. If you can read, try it again! Vitali earned approximately 30 (US. dollars) in 2011 minus endorsements. Kobe Bryant approximately 26 million (US. dollars) minus endorsements.:patsch

The Klitschkos brothers have endorsements all over Europe, not just the USA.:yep

But thats the whole point of the NBA/NFL argument!!! Their argument is that if not for other sports they would clean out this weak heavyweight division. :hi: Thanks for proving my point.:good

lets see some proof of Vitalis earning, the only thing I was able to find was his net worth of 60 million nothing about him earning 30 million. I thought he only got 5 to 8 million a fight.

Again! In 2011 Vitali earned approximately 30 million (US. dollars). 4 million more than the highest paid NBA player and 7 million more than the highest paid NFL player.

If anything is disproves your point, the 18th best Basketball player could easily be the No.1 Boxer for all we know, however due to the fact the chance these players have in other sports is greater they follow that path.

The spread of wealth is far greater in NBA/NFL so players CHOOSE this over Boxing, I'd hazard a guess that if the top 20 boxers were earning the same as the top 20 NBA/NFL player there would be a lot more good active American Heavyweights.

NBA/NFL also doesn't have a history of people like Don King and Bob Arum robbing athletes blind. Not to mention they don't have to get punched in the face for a living. Their are literally a million reasons why America doesn't currently have a good Heavyweight, the athletes not being in the country isn't one of them.

It honestly is people like you that make people dislike the Klitschko's on this board, the arguments are boring, monotonous and now daily. Before I joined this forum I quite enjoyed watching them, and I still do and will continues to do so. But the day one of them gets knocked out I swear my sides will split with laughter thinking about you and the rest of the cretinous infestation of Klitschko die hards crying your little eyes out. You boring, boring man.
