Arum has had no plans to put Cotto in against Mayweather.

Cotto beats Gomez, then most likely fights Margo for the title. Then he has to fill in a Mando against Clottey. And then probably his mando for his other title. Arum is already tying Cotto up for the next year and half. :deal

 

this may be...but PBF has no intention of fighting any top welter...the only thing he wants is a rematch with DLH. You can't deny that.

 

Eh. Theres only two threats at Welterweight and thats Cotto and Paul Williams. Cotto really hasn't done much but hes the number 1 guy. Floyd can't go after him because he is dealing with ex promoter who can't stand him and won't put Cotto in the ring with him. And Paul Williams isn't as established and he has a fight set in with Quitana.


I dislike that Cotto-Floyd isn't being made but my blame is on Arum. And to top it off, if Floyd wasn't fighting DLH for the money. Cotto would be.
