Ezekiel Brook vs. Amir Iqbal Khan

My opinion remains the same:

 

I think Brook would actually die making 147 today. He barely skin of the teeth could 4 years ago. He'll look like a zombie at 150 still.

I see Khan pitter patter workrate victory over the distance.

Khan hasn't fought in almost 3 years by the time they step in the ring. Brook may have trouble making 149, but Khan's inactivity will throw off his timing and in his speed may have diminished in his mid-30s.

 

If it's at 147 and Brook destroys himself to get down to the weight, Khan wins by TKO. He hrows a fast flurry of shots when Brook has his ba k to the ropes and the referee jumps in and stops it.

 

Brook is unfortunately shot and Khan has a list of demands longer than the list of points on his driving licence.
I really hope Brook pulls it off but I think the cards are stacked against him.

 

So many feather-fisted prospects against durable journeymen. Not even one hard-hitting prospect vs. a fat glass-jawed journeyman, my favorite kind.

 

Khan has the quantity, but does he have a better single victory to his name? I don't think so. Pre-Oxnard Chino is about the closest thing he's got.
