Ezzard Charles info required, Maxim 1 and the Military Service years

    Long shot, but does anyone have any online information on Ezzard Charles vs Joey Maxim 1, October 1942? All I can find is that Charles won!

    Also, any info on his Military Service years will be much appreciated.

    I know he apparently flattened Billy Conn while both were in the Army, something which Charles refused to comment on
