Can anyone confirm this? It's been written that he became a more cautious fighter after the death of Baroudi through injuries sustained in their fight.
It's been said that he wasn't as hungry to go for the KO after the Baroudi fight, although he reportedly regained some of that killer instinct following his KO loss to Walcott. There is scant footage of Charles pre-Baroudi, but from what I have seen, it seems he was a bit more exciting in the pre-Baroudi footage, whereas some of his post-Baroudi fights seemed a bit duller. That's really the best I can say on the subject.
That's about right on. People didn't like Charles because he was rather boring. He was more cautious and didn't have that killer instinct. Earlier Charles was a bit more aggressive. It definitely changed him.
There is prime footage of him against Marshall. I have it and he lookedd great. He was more aggressive before the Baroudi fight.
