This is a very interesting one; near perfect technical punching v tremendous physical attributes.

I agree that Charles is probably the natural favourite at 175, but i'll be interested to see who jumps which way on this one.

charles is a natural light heavy, and he was the man to almost beat rocky marciano. so charles UD.

Charles has way more skills than Jones. Roys athleticism wont be enough to get by Charles.

Jones athleticism keeps him in the fight, but I think that Charles is too technically sound for Jones. Charles was also an athlete, but his technical prowess is what will be too much for Jones.

Charles by ko around the 8th round.

Charles, by late stoppage. He's just too powerful and skilled.

Can anyone really see Rjj getting dominated in a UD?
    I really, can't. Ko'd or TKO'd, sure, but not a UD.

Charles via late KO. I rank Ezzard the greatest 175lbs ever.

Jones Jnr is not in the same league as Charles.

    Mid rounds or early TKO

I agree with the above posters on the result, but it would be a struggle. I would expect Charles to be trailing by a couple of rounds before he pulled out some genius combination that made Jones wilt on the spot and not get up.

Charles would stop Jones Jr late, if De Valle can floor Roy, then Ezzard can kayo him.

It'll take Charles a bit to adjust to Jones....after that he outpoints him making Jones a bit gun shy late-on I imagine. 'round 9-6 UD :deal

Jones is a very serious threat to any Lightheavyweight. He's the kind of guy who could really disrupt Charles' rhythm and it could well take awhile for Charles to start finding the kind of success he'd be looking for. Roy's a dangerous puncher in his own right, as well. Still, I'll agree with others and say Charles probably very gradually takes over and gets the stoppage. His quality is just so thoroughly proven that it's hard to pick against him at the weight.
