    I’ve heard that most saw the fight as a robbery but as already stated there doesn’t seem to be any film of the fight around. Wish we had some fight film of Elmer Ray. I’ve wondered about him for years

    From memory, most commentators scored the fight for Ray and the ones who did for Charles acknowledged it was a really close fight. Who can really say if Charles deserved the win without footage available, but it certainly doesn't seem to have been a robbery of any kind.
