While Rahman is the bigger man of the two we know he can't counter punch, and that was Ezzard's bread and butter. While Charles didn't have A1 power at heavyweight if he caught you he could finish you and Rahman doesn't necessarily have a granite chin But I digress Maybe after a flash Knockdown in the middle rounds by Rahman's clubbing right hand I'd have to say Ezzard Charles trails the scorecards into a comfortable UD win
Charles is much much better but the difference in weight between their punches is huge, seriously huge so Rahman could walk Charles down and stop him maybe
I think maybe you're giving The Rock too much leeway here I mean Ezzard went the full 15 with Marciano and I'm fairly sure Rahman hits like a ***** in comparison
Rahman size and workrate I believe would give Charles problems but overall in the end I think Charles is able to win a decision because of his superior craft.
Rahman was a poor hwt with very limited skills. Charles schools him, busts him up and coasts to a wide decision win. No real contest here.
Charles wins. But it generally took big punchers to put Hasim away. Ezzard by wide decision is probably more likely.
Charles toys with him, coasts to a decision or forces a stoppage late if he decides to start laying into an exhausted Rahman with combinations.
Charles would look good in a dominant win, he can KO Rahman and he can win on points but Charles is heads and shoulders better. I think Charles has fun and gets a stoppage around the 8-10th
