Once again, another old fight that was unjustifiably barely filmed. Albeit, the last two rounds of the fight, that shown in the video were very slow, and by the booing in the last two rounds, I would guess the previous 13 rounds were equally tiresome to watch. However, I'm not down on the fight. Of course, I haven't seen it. But even though I didn't enjoy the last two rounds of Charles-Walcott I, I did appreciate them. It was slow, but scientific. The top two heavyweights of the 1947-1952 period and two of the greatest heavies of all time. Two of the slickest tacticians playing their clever games. These two men were absolute geniuses. They were actually very similar and closely matched in their skill sets. I would do a lot to see 13 more rounds of these two greats playing complicated games of counterpunching, feinting, and tricking one another into their traps.

Can't help but feel this is one of the most unstructured posts I've ever written. It's almost just a list of my thoughts put into paragraph form.
