I dont think anybody will dispute this but Charles is still going to have to overcome some serious physical and stylistic disadvantages here especialy if it is a longer fight.

I dont think this is necisarily a walk in the park for Charles.

Wasn't it a walk in the park for 180lb Gunboat Smith?

I think that because of his size, mental toughness and experience at fighting many rounds in blistering heat, Willard may indeed hang in there, making Charles have to work for the win. The problem however, is that I see Jess taking a horrific amount of punishment in vein. Yes, I agree Willard will stay in the fight, but probably to no good cause.

In some ways we give inconsistant fighters a bit of a pass by asuming optimum performance.

The reality is that is Louis and Tysons careers ran concurently and they fought twice Louis would probably get Tysonat a bad point in his career at least once based on consistency.

Smith also said his hands were "loaded" for this fight. He had three layers of electrical tape on his hands, they were like solid mallets.Smith said Willard had a terrific chin.A long distance fight might mean people would be surprised by the showing Jess would put up.

Willard is so underated, people dont put much thought on him. I think Jess on a good day might give Charles a run, perhaps even upset him.

I was very impress with Willard in the Johnson and Moran fights as far as fighting as a big man, Looks a lot like Wlad in there. But with a better chin, Wlad had a better punch though.
People dont bring up the fact that Willard box Moran's ears off.

    Charles easily outpoints Willard.
