At his best I would pick Ezzard Charles to win this. Not totally sure on the fashion in which he’d do it. I went with a decision on the polls
The Ellis that emerged the winner of the WBA Elimination Tournament was a pretty good fighter such as the level at that time. He fairly descively beat L Martin O Bonavena Jerry Quarry and I believe did beat Patterson though that was close. He d have height and weight over Charles. Charles was good but probably close but not as good as the Patterson Ellis met.
